Prada To China, A New Face (Maybe) At Paco Rabanne, “Mr. Armani’s Probably Gonna Kill Me,”

Prada is Beijing bound. The Italian label is the latest to take its show on the road to China, where Miuccia Prada will present her Spring ‘11 women’s collection (left)—with a few pieces created especially for the event—on January 22.

The rumor mill is churning again, and this time it’s about the house of Paco Rabanne. Is Indian designer Manish Arora—a spangle-favoring boundary-pusher championed by Browns’ Joan Burstein—slated to helm the house’s return to ready to wear and revive its fortunes?

Victoria Beckham’s bags apparently cause as much of a stir as her tabloid-friendly goings and comings in L.A. Her new accessories debuted this morning on Net-A-Porter—and sold out before noon.

Speaking of hard-to-get accessories, two lucky Parisian fans walked away from a Lady Gaga show with the Lady’s own mirrored Armani heels. “Mr. Armani’s probably gonna kill me,” she said, before tossing them into the audience. Video right this way.

And collab-a-minute Opening Ceremony has just announced its next group project: A line with Maison Martin Margiela. For the real challenge, we want to see Humberto and Carol team up with the reclusive Monsieur Margiela himself.
